How to Maintain and Fix a Neutral Safety Switch on 2000 Jeep Wrangler?

In order to fix the Neutral Safety Switch, lift the vehicle and place a drain pan under it. Un-hook the wires, take off the switch and position the operating lever in Park and Neutral. Install a new seal and tighten to 34 Nm, continue continuity test, reconnect wires, lower the vehicle, fill up transmission fluid.
