How to service an Oil Pressure Switch on 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

In order to service the oil pressure sender, raise the vehicle and secure an oil collecting container underneath the pressure switch location. Remove the oil pressure switch, disconnect the electrical connector from it. Installation of the oil pressure switch and connect the electrical connector. Drop the vehicle and start the engine and let it run for a minimum of 2 minutes. After engine shutting off check engine oil level and make adjustment if needed.
