How to Maintain a Window Motor on 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

If the window allows it, move it all the way up and then lift the hood. Break the negative battery connection before starting. Take out the trim panel around the door and unplug the electrical connector from the window motor. After that, take out the window regulator and leave it somewhere, then unscrew the three screws that attach the motor to the regulator on the workbench and remove the motor. Place the motor onto the regulator and attach it with the three screws to secure it. Put the window regulator back into the door, reconnect its electrical wire unit to the window motor and snap the door trim panel in place. Attach the negative battery cable, make sure the hood is properly closed and test if the vehicle and system work properly.
