How to Maintain the Coolant Temperature Sensor on a 2.5L Engine on 2001 Dodge Dakota?

To service the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor on a 2.5L engine, you partially drain the cooling system, disconnect the electrical connector on the sensor and remove the sensor. Reinstall the sensor with 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.) and replace any lost engine coolant.
