2002 Dodge Neon Blower Motor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Replace a Blower Motor in an Air Conditioning System on 2002 Dodge Neon?
A: To attach air conditioning instead of a blower motor, start by identifying the blower motor at the bottom right inside the unit housing, as you won't need to remove the entire assembly to access it. First, take away the right side scuff plate and lift out the carpet. Then, pull the blower motor wiring connector apart and take out the retaining screws under the blower motor so the assembly comes out of the housing. After you have installed the three wires from the motor, put the motor back in the housing and connect it with the screws. Rebind the right side wire harness to the blower motor, slide the right side carpet into place and finish by affixing the inside scuff plate back to the right side.
