- Q: How to Replace a Blower Motor in an Air Conditioning System on 2003 Dodge Neon?A: To switch to air conditioning, get rid of the left scuff plate and move the carpet backward. Next, remove the wiring connector from the blower motor and take out the two retaining screws, then lower the whole blower motor assembly from the unit housing. For installation, secure the blower motor into its place in the unit and attach the retaining screws. Wire the harness to the blower motor, move the carpet back into place on the right side and then install the left side scuff plate. You do not need to open the unit housing to remove the blower motor which is on the right bottom of the main housing.
