How to Maintain an Ambient Temperature Sensor on 2003 Dodge Durango?

Service the ambient temperature sensor by detaching and isolating the negative battery cable at the beginning. Open the radiator and find the ambient temperature sensor on the right side behind the grille, disconnecting the wire from its connector. Take out the screw holding the sensor bracket to the radiator yoke and take out the ambient temperature sensor. If you are installing, first attach the ambient temperature sensor to the radiator yoke, then install the screw to secure the bracket and set the tightness to 5.6 Nm (50 in. lbs.). Link the wire harness connector from the sensor back to the car and then link the negative cable to the battery.
