How to Service the A/C Switch for Front Heater Control on 2003 Dodge Durango?

Before touching the heater control on the A/C panel in the front, first disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. Get rid of the small panel surrounding the cluster on the dashboard. Then, extract the four screws holding the heater-A/C control in place and pull the wire harness connector out of the back side of the control unit. Take away the heater-A/C control from the instrument panel. For installation, insert the wire harness into the heater-A/C control, put the cluster bezel over it and attach it with the four screws, each tightened to 2.2 Nm (17 ± 3 in. lbs.). Again, connect the negative battery cable after placing the cluster bezel back into the instrument panel. Do the A/C cool down test using the DRB III as the final step.
