2004 Dodge Durango Ambient Temperature Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain an Ambient Temperature Sensor on 2004 Dodge Durango?
A: To work on the ambient air temperature sensor, you should first cut off the negative battery cable. Disengage the sensor by pulling it free from the vehicle after unhooking the sensor's wire harness from its connector and releasing the push pin 3 that holds the sensor to the internal front bumper beam. For the installation, link wire harness connector 2 with the ambient air temperature sensor 1 and fit the sensor so it is inside the front bumper beam. Put push pin 3 into place to secure the sensor and then simply connect the negative battery cable.
