2004 Chrysler Pacifica ABS Control Module Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair the ABS Control Module on 2004 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: You should always start by removing the negative battery cable and placing it aside when servicing or repairing the Electronic Brake Control Module. Position the vehicle and raise it and then take out the 3 screws that join the Cab to the Hcu. Take the Cab off the Hcu and disconnect the large connector at the Cab, then you can remove it. First, plug the 47-way wiring connector from the Cab into its hole at the Hcu, next, set the Cab solenoids and pump/motor wiring in alignment with the Hcu valve connector and finish by sliding the Cab onto the Hcu. Secure the Court Appointed Board to the Hcu using the 3 included screws torqued to a recommended 2 Nm. Make sure the vehicle is now on the ground and connect the negative battery cable back to the battery post. Finally, attach the Drbiii(R) to start the Cab and see and clear any problems with the engine.
