How to Service and Repair a Sway Bar Link on 2004 Jeep Liberty?

Raise and support the vehicle. To service and repair the sway bar link, first, remove the tire and wheel assembly. Then, remove the lower sway bar link bolt at the lower control arm and the upper sway bar link bolt at the stabilizer bar, so that the sway bar link may be taken away. Start installation of the sway bar by putting the sway bar link in position, then upper sway bar link bolt and washer at the stabilizer bar and tighten the bolt to 136 Nm (100 ft. lbs.). Install the lower sway bar link bolt and washer at the lower control arm and tighten the nut to 115 Nm (85 ft. lbs.). Then reinstall the tire and wheel assembly.
