How to Service a Sway Bar Link on 2005 Jeep Liberty?

First, raise and support the vehicle to service the sway bar link by removing the tire and wheel assembly. Then, we detach the lower sway bar link bolt to the lower control arm and the upper sway bar link bolt to the stabilizer bar to take off the sway bar link. To install, place the new sway bar link and secure by installing the upper sway bar link bolt and washer to the stabilizer bar and tighten the bolt to 136 Nm (100 ft. lbs). Next, install the lower sway bar link bolt and washer to the lower control arm and tighten the nut to 115 Nm (85 ft. lbs.). The tire and wheel assembly can go back in at last.
