After that, separate the wire harness connector from the mode door actuator, remove the two screws holding the actuator to the HVAC air distribution housing and pull the actuator out. The mode door actuator needs to be fixed onto the HVAC air distribution housing, so ensure the splines of the actuator output shaft match those in the mode door linkage. Attach the two screws to the actuator and tighten them to 2 N.m (17 in. lbs.). Following this, join the wire harness connector. When it's done, put the silencer on the driver side end of the instrument panel, reconnect the negative battery cable and do a calibration of the A/C-heater.
