Unplug the negative battery connector when servicing this module and ensure you wait two minutes. Remove the center console, unscrew the mounting nuts and separate the 23-way AC connection to take out the module. When the ACM is out of the vehicle, connect the ACM connector so the connector and all locking tabs are engaged. Bring the ACM into position so the arrow is pointed forward and seal the console floor bracket tight by threading the nuts and setting the torque to 9.6 to 14 Nm. After that, replace the center console assembly into the vehicle. You must avoid connecting the battery negative cable to the battery until the air bag system has been checked and examined for your own and the occupants' safety.
