You should first remove the sprocket and then tap out the dowel pin before working on the front seal. Work with Special Tool 6341A to loosen and uninstall the crankshaft seal, not touching either the surface of the shaft seal or its bore while you do so. If the seal lip's surface is covered in varnish, dirt or has any nicks, polish it with 400 grit paper. Before installing the crankshaft sprocket, attach the seal to the crankshaft using Special Tool 6342 and put in the dowel pin with 1.2 mm (0.047 inch) of the end protruding, as you would with all models.
