How to Service and Repair the ABS Control Module on 2006 Dodge Dakota?

Servicing or repairing the Electronic Brake Control Module starts with removing the HCU from your car. Following this, free the mounting screws 1 and disconnect the pump electrical wire 3 from the HCU 2. Afterward, take out the module 1 from the HCU 2. Before installing the HCU, place the module 1 on it and fix the mounting screws 1 to 6 N.m (53 in. lbs). After that, join the end of the pump electrical connector 3 to the module 4 and correctly reattach the HCU to the vehicle. When installing a new ABM, don't forget to enter the rear axle type and the mile-to-rev count for the tires.
