  • Q: How to Maintain a Front Wheel Speed Sensor on 2006 Dodge Dakota?
    A: Raise and support the vehicle first and next take out the front rotor and caliper adapter. After that, unscrew and remove the wheel speed sensor mounting bolt (1) from the hub (3), then remove the wheel speed sensor (2). Remove the wires from their clips and separate the electrical connector from the fuses (1). Place the wires onto the installed clips and attach the electrical connector (1). Attach the wheel speed sensor (2) to the hub (3) and use bolt (1) to tighten it with a nut to 21 Nm (190 inch lbs.). After that, install the removed front rotor and the brake caliper assembly.
