2006 Jeep Commander Brake Master Cylinder Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Brake Master Cylinder on 2006 Jeep Commander?
A: Your first step when servicing or repairing the brake master cylinder should be to siphon it. After that, take out the primary brake line 6 and secondary brake line 6 at the brake master cylinder and separate the brake fluid level switch 7. Then, you should unscrew nuts 8 and remove the brake master cylinder. Before fixing the new brake master cylinder in the car, bleed it on a bench. Fit the brake master cylinder over a new gasket, close its 8 nuts and reattach the brake fluid level electrical connector 7. Set up and install brake line 6 at each side of the brake master cylinder. After that, add brake fluid and top it off until the brake fluid runs out of the BML holes.
