First, block the car battery's negative terminal with a wrench, remove the negative cable and then wait at least two minutes for the air bag capacitor to drain. The system includes two blend door actuators, one for the driver area and one for the passenger area. Get the screwdriver you have and remove the silencer beneath the part of the instrument panel on the driver side. After that, unplug the blend door actuator's wire harness connector from the main connector. Next, open the housing, undo the two screws inside it and take out the actuator.
