How to Safely Service the A/C Switch to Prevent Accidental Airbag Deployment on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?

Don't start servicing the control assembly until the air bag system is completely off by unplugging and isolating the negative battery cable for two minutes. First, take off the negative battery cable and set it apart from the group. After that, take off the center bezel from the control panel. With that done, unscrew the three screws that attach the A/C-heater control to the panel. To finish, remove the A/C-heater control from your car's dashboard and pull the two wire harness connectors loose from the control.
