2007 Chrysler Pacifica Blower Motor Resistor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service a Blower Motor Resistor on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: Before touching the blower motor resistor, first unplug and cover up the negative battery cable to disable the air bag system, then let the air bag capacitor discharge for two minutes. It is important to make sure the blower motor has been off for at least five minutes to allow the resistors to cool, since they get very hot while the blower is on. Operating the blower motor after removing the resistor may damage the vehicle. The first thing to do is separate the negative battery cable before removing the glove box from the instrument panel. Proceed by separating the two wire harness connectors from the blower motor resistor and remove the two screws, then easily remove the resistor.
