2007 Chrysler Pacifica A/C Condenser Parts and Q&A
Q: How to remove an A/C Condenser on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: Swap off the battery's negative cable and drain the refrigerant from the A/C system first before moving the condenser. After that, pull off the radiator panel cover and the front fascia. Remove the retaining pins holding the radiator end air seals to the front of the A/C condenser and then take out the seals, remembering where they came from. First, unhook the wire harness connector from the ambient temperature sensor on the A/C condenser's left side. Second, pull off the push-pin that attaches the sensor and pull the sensor off the left side of the condenser. After you disconnect the cooler lines from the transmissions cooler, cover both ends and openings with plugs or tape. First, separate the bolt linking the left section of the A/C condenser to the radiator and then take off the nut connecting the discharge line on the A/C condenser's right side. Separate the A/C discharge line from the radiator's condenser section, put the O-ring seal and gasket aside and remove the bolt securing the part to your radiator. Pull out the screw that holds the liquid line against the right side of the condenser, loosen the line and throw away both the O-ring and gasket. Again, put plugs into the open refrigerant line ends and the ports of the condenser. Lift one end of the A/C condenser a little, pull each lower bracket from the radiator mounting tab at the end, then lower and remove the condenser from the engine compartment's front end.
