2007 Chrysler Pacifica Body Control Module Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Safely Remove the Body Control Module (BCM) on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: The first step for removing the Body Control Module (BCM) is to isolate the battery negative cable by unplugging it. Afterward, remove the silencer under the instrument panel and take out the knee blocker air bag. Unhook the 72-way bulkhead connector from the BCM mounting assembly and put the wires to one side. After that, unplug the five wire connections from the BCM and take out the four screws that fix the BCM to the bulkhead. Lastly, take the BCM and remove it from its bracket. If a BCM is replaced, it has to be programmed with a scan tool and DealerCONNECT(R). You should not interchange BCM's between your cars or the BCM's available on the dealer's lot.
