2007 Chrysler Pacifica Air Bag Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair an Air Bag Sensor on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: For impact sensor service or repair, open the hood and disconnect the negative battery cable after waiting at least two minutes so the system reserve capacitor empties and prevents accidental air bag deployment. Replace the front impact sensor by taking the front lamp unit off the side of the car it's located on, uncovering the headlamp opening to remove its two mounting screws and then unplugging the electrical connector and removing the sensor. First, take away the lower trim under the B-pillar, take out the two retaining screws for the impact sensor, remove the electrical connector and free the impact sensor. For the C-pillar sensors, lift the hood, disconnect the negative battery terminal, separate the quarter trim panel at the side being repaired, take out the two screws on the sensor, unplug the electrical connection and pull the sensor out of the car.
