2007 Dodge Caliber Brake Drum Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Safely Remove and Replace a Brake Drum on 2007 Dodge Caliber?
A: Begin by raising the vehicle and then detach the nuts holding the wheel in place, as well as the tire and wheel. Place the wheel mounting studs between the drum and the bearing and work the drum off. If you cannot remove the drum, adjust the brake adjuster screw by undoing the plug at the rear of the wheel cylinder's support plate. Place a small screwdriver through the access hole in the support plate and push it onto the brake shoe lever pawl, while using the second screwdriver or tool to turn the adjuster wheel on top. With the adjuster screw almost completely turned through, the drum should slide off the wheel studs.
