2007 Jeep Wrangler Heater Core Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Heater Core on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Before you service or repair the heater core, make sure the air bag system is disabled by removing the negative battery cable. After that, wait two minutes so the air bag system's capacitor drains. This should be part of your minor car repair to make sure the air bag doesn't deploy accidentally and cause harm. Take the HVAC housing off and then put it on a workbench. Then, separate the passenger side floor distributor from the air conditioning housing. When the foam seal of the flange is deformed or hurt, it is necessary to replace it. Take off the foam seal from the flange that is on the front of the HVAC case. Remove the flange by first unscrewing the metal plate that joins it to the HVAC housing. From there, take out the screw that links the Right Hand Reservoir bracket to the passenger side of the air distribution housing. After that, ease the heater core out of the side of the air distribution housing.
