2007 Jeep Wrangler A/C Hose Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install an A/C Hose for the Liquid Line on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Before you begin, fit the A/C liquid line in the engine compartment and take off any tape or stops place in the openings of the suction, liquid line fittings, the condenser and expansion valve ports and the fittings at the opening. Apply clean refrigerant oil to new rubber O-ring seals and put them together with a new gasket onto the suction and liquid line fitting sockets, but only use the O-rings and oil that match the R-134a system. Attach the A/C liquid line to the condenser and add the retaining nut, pushing it tight to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.). Should you have removed it, set the A/C liquid line into the tapping block connected to the suction line. Air intake from 2.8L equipped vehicles should be fitted onto the throttle body. After that, join the A/C liquid line and A/C suction line to the expansion valve and fasten the retaining nut to 8 Nm (70 in. lbs.). If the situation calls for it, attach the bracket once more to hold the A/C liquid line and suction line. Attach the negative battery cable, take out the refrigerant from the system, set the refrigerant oil amount and charge the refrigerant system.
