How to Service an Ambient Temperature Sensor for Accurate Readings on 2008 Jeep Commander?

Before working with the Outside Temperature Display Sensor, first isolate the battery's negative cable. Then, take the grille off. After that, disconnect the wire harness connector from the ambient temperature sensor and pull the sensor out of the retaining bracket. Lastly, get rid of the ambient temperature sensor when the car is removed.
