How to Service an Ambient Temperature Sensor for Accurate Outdoor Readings on 2009 Jeep Commander?

Before commencing servicing the outside temperature display sensor, first disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. Next, take off the grille. Afterward, unplug the wire harness connector from the ambient temperature sensor and disengage the sensor from the retaining bracket. Lastly, dislodge the ambient temperature sensor from the vehicle.
