How to Remove the A/C Hose on 2009 Dodge Journey?

First, take apart the negative battery cable before disconnecting the A/C discharge line. After that, take out the refrigerant from the refrigeration system. Depress the nut 5 on the right side of the condenser that fixes the A/C discharge line 1 to the condenser tapping block 2, then pull off the line from the tapping block. The process is almost the same for other engines, but 2.7L is used as an example in this video. With the engine off, disconnect the nut 3 that holds the A/C discharge line 1 to the A/C compressor 2, take out the A/C discharge line from the A/C compressor and move it out of the engine compartment. After that, throw away the O-ring seals and gaskets and either plug or tape up the open outlet from the compressor or condenser and the ports from the discharge line.
