2009 Dodge Viper ABS Control Module Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Install the ABS Control Module on 2009 Dodge Viper?
A: Install the Electronic Brake Control Module by placing the CAB on the HCU and attaching it with four CAB mounting bolts that you tighten to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.). After that, join the pump/motor wire connector to the main harness and check that the seal is properly placed in the 24-way connection before you continue. Line up the 24-way connector with the CAB socket, push it down and then turn the lock inward to lock it in place. After that, place the access panel in the front wheel well on the left side and fit the tire and wheel back on, again tightening the wheel nuts in the correct sequence to reach 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.) After you have lowered the car, attach the battery's negative (-) terminal and clear any ABS problems by doing the Verification Test.
