  A: Begin by taking off the tape or plugs from the two refrigerant line and evaporator tube fittings. Do the same with all of the expansion valve ports. Slick the O-ring seal surface with clean R-134a oil, then mount them onto the refrigerant line and evaporator to make sure you only fit the right O-rings recommended for your A/C system. After that, attach the A/C expansion valve to the evaporator tube tapping block and connect it with two bolts, ensuring you tighten them to 11 Nm (97 in. lbs.). Attach the A/C suction and liquid lines to the A/C expansion valve and then tighten the holding nut with 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.). Attach the negative battery cable again, remove the refrigerant from the system and add in enough refrigerant as directed.
