The single zone system uses only one blend door actuator, while the dual zone one has two, each for the driver and passenger sides of the car. Gently set the blend door actuator into place in the vehicle and secure it at the driver side end of the HVAC air distribution housing. Adjust the angle of the actuator very slightly to fit the splines on the actuator shaft to those on the blend door cam. Place the two screws into the air distribution housing to attach the blend door actuator, fastening them to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.). Link the HVAC wire harness connector to the blend door actuator, mount the instrument panel silencer when it is fitted, recover the negative
Battery Cable and use a scan tool to initiate the Actuator Calibration function. On the passenger side, attach the blend door actuator into the car and fix it onto the housing's passenger side, making sure to keep the splines in place. Fasten the blend door actuator onto the air distribution housing, check the tightness at 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.), fit the HVAC wire harness connector, secure the
Glove Box onto the instrument panel, reattach the negative battery cable and launch Actuator Calibration in the scan tool.
