Start by placing the trailing link into position and installing the bolts fastening the leading side of the trailing link to the body with a tightening force of 110 Nm. Then, attach the trailing link to the knuckle using three bolts, tighten each to 60 Nm. Take the
Parking Brake Cable across to the inboard (closest to chassis) side of the trailing arm and slide it into the parking brake support plate. Bind the parking brake cable at the brake support plate using a hair pin and join it to the lever on the
Parking Brake Shoe. First, set in the hub and bearing, then add the brake rotor or
Brake Drum over them. If there are rear disc brakes, position the disc
Brake Caliper and adapter assembly over the brake rotor and brake support plate, install the two bolts holding the assembly to the plate and tighten each one to 105 Nm. If you have routing clips, secure the wheel speed sensor to the trailing link with them and mount the brake tube on the routing clip on the same link. At the trailing link bracket, insert the brake flex hose and bracket for the tube and make sure to tighten the mounting screw to 23 Nm. Place the tire and wheel assembly on the wheel bolts and tighten them to 135 Nm after you've lowered the car to its proper position.
