For rear blower motor switch maintenance on models with a rear heater-A/C unit, disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable at first. Pull out the accessory switch plate from the instrument panel, then turn the illumination lamp socket opposite of the hands to disengage it from the back of the switch housing. Twist the knob loose at the tip of the stem on the accessory switch plate in the front. Using a small, narrow-blade screwdriver, carefully lift the edge of the accessory switch plate to release the two clips at the sides of the rear blower motor switch housing, so you can take out the switch from the back of the accessory switch panel. Put the rear blower switch on the accessory switch plate toward the back, push it in firmly and make sure the clips are all engaged. Place the rear blower motor switch stem with the flat into the hub of the knob and carefully reinstall the knob above it. Screw the illumination socket onto the rear blower motor housing, place the accessory switch in its slot on the instrument panel and join the battery negative cable.
