You should start by disabling SRS to ensure the air bags won't deploy accidentally. For this, pull out the battery negative cable and let the capacitor run its electricity for two minutes. Rotate the multi-function switch onto its mount from the left so that the alignment pins are pushed in. Loosen all four screws on the switch and then install the two screws in the stand to secure it. Tighten these screws to 2 Nm (20 in. lbs.). Snap the wire harness connector into the switch housing at the bottom, then stick the lower shroud onto the column. Last, tighten the central screw to 2 Nm (20 in. lbs.). While ensuring the gearshift lever gap hider is engaged if you have an automatic, place the upper shroud over the lower one, line up the snap features and press with your hands to snap them locking into place. After installing the outboard screws, tighten both of them to 2 Nm (around 20 in. lbs.). After that, attach the tilt steering column knob to the tilt adjuster actuator, secure it with a 2 Nm (20 in. lbs.) tightened screw and then link the negative
Battery Cable.
