Each side of the engine is supported by a rubber-made front engine mount. Start by removing the negative terminal from the battery, lifting up the vehicle and placing some support under the engine to get them out. Then, get rid of the through bolt nut, making sure the through bolt remains and proceed to remove the retaining bolts and nuts from the support cushions, after which you remove both the through bolt and the support cushions. Should the engine support bracket be missing, place the Left and Right brackets on the cylinder block and tighten the stud nuts and bolts on the Right Side to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.) and 46 Nm (34 ft. lbs., respectively) and 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.) on the Left Side bolts. As long as the support cushion brackets have been removed, hold them to the lower front sill and attach the bolts, tightening all the bolts to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.) and all the stud nuts to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.). Set the support cushions onto the support cushion brackets and use a torque wrench to fasten the right cushion nuts to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.) and tighten the left cushion bolt and nuts to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.). In the end, fit the through bolt and retaining nut and set the through bolt nut's tightness to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.). Take out the engine support, settle the car onto the floor and attach the battery negative cable again.
