  First, make sure you set the refrigerant oil level correctly to prevent both system issues and issues with the compressor. Start by taking away any tape or plugs from both the evaporator tube fittings and the expansion valve ports. Lubricate brand new O-ring seals with pure R-134a refrigerant oil and place them onto the fitting on the evaporator tube using just the right O-ring and refrigerant oil for your compressor. Following this, put the A/C expansion valve on the evaporator tube tapping block and attach it with two bolts tightened to 11 Nm (97 in. lbs.). Pull out the tape or remove the plugs from the A/C suction line and liquid line, grease the O-ring seals and put them on these lines. Insert the A/C suction and liquid lines into the expansion valve, attach them with a nut and tighten it to 20 Nm (15 foot-pounds). Gasoline engine models should have you install the air intake tube and resonator. Replace the negative Battery Cable, empty the refrigerant system, add enough refrigerant oil and fill the refrigerant system if needed.
