Get rid of the Clock Spring and remove broken latch parts from inside the housing. When you reuse the Clock Spring, keep the rotor stable in the center until the clock is installed again. Before installing anything, be sure the car is at rest, the front wheels are facing front and the left multi-function lever is in the neutral position. Move the centered Clock Spring up the steering column until its latches link, hook up each side of the body wire harness and both shrouds should line up and engage on the steering column. Once the shrouds are snapped, put in and attach all the screws opening the lower shroud and if your car has a tilt steering column, raise it and secure it. Attach the steering column opening cover, take out the locking pin from the new Clock Spring if there is one, clip the steering wheel back on, connect the pigtail wires and attach the driver air bag.
