How to Service and Repair an ABS Control Module on 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Disconnect the black negative cable from the battery as the first step in servicing or repairing your Controller Antilock Brake. After that, remove the air cleaner housing. Lift the CAB harness connector release and detach it and then disconnect the pump motor connector. Once the thruster is done, loosen the CAB bolts and take the CAB apart from the HCU. To install, set the CAB onto the HCU and then tighten the bolts to 1.8 Nm (16 inch lbs.). Put back the pump motor wire, then connect the end of the CAB harness to the green connector and push it to the release. Next, put back the air cleaner housing and secure the negative battery cable to the battery.
