How to Service and Repair an ABS Control Module on 2002 Jeep Wrangler?

First, take off the negative battery cable from the battery before beginning work on the Controller Antilock Brake. After that, gently pull the CAB harness connector release and separate it from the connector, followed by taking the pump connector away from the CAB. Take out the mounting bolts on the CAB and then lift the CAB off of the HCU. On installation, place the CAB on the HCU and hold it in place using the included bolts and tighten them to 2 Nm (16 in. lbs.). Make sure to secure the pump's electrical kit connector to the CAB, attach the wiring harness connector next and finally push the release down. In the last step, connect the negative battery cable back to its terminal.
