Start by turning off the air bag system on cars that have it by taking out the negative (ground) battery cable, waiting two minutes and ensuring the air bags can't deploy accidentally. At first, you should take out the heater-A/C housing and dismantle it to be able to remove the evaporator coil from the lower half. Reinstall the evaporator coil inside the bottom section of the heater-A/C housing and then add 2 fluid ounces of the proper refrigerant oil if you're installing a new evaporator. Once that's done, join the heater-A/C housing and mount it on the vehicle.
