2002 Jeep Wrangler Blend Door Actuator Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Replace a Blend Door Actuator on 2002 Jeep Wrangler?
A: On vehicles with air bags, disconnect and isolate the negative cable from the battery before you wait two minutes. Deconnect the wire from the blend-air door motor and afterwards loosen the screws holding the motor to its casing and take it out. For installation, set the new air door motor over the actuator shaft, secure it with the screws, fastening them to 1 Nm or 10 in. lbs., add the wire harness connector and reattach the negative (black) battery cable at the end.
