How to Maintain a Blower Motor on 2002 Jeep Wrangler?

To service the blower motor, detach the negative cable from the battery first and then remove the connector from the motor wire harness. Press the tab on the blower motor retainer and turn the blower motor counterclockwise to get it out of the HVAC housing. Following installation of the blower motor and wheel assembly in the housing, turn the motor clockwise so that the locking tab snaps into place. After that, attach the blower motor wire harness to its connector and reinsert the battery's negative cable.
