How to Service and Repair a Rear Blower Motor on 2004 Dodge Durango?

It is necessary to first unhook and insulate the negative battery cable prior to servicing the rear blower motor. Take out the rear HVAC housing and then remove the rear connector from the rear blower motor. After that, lower the three screws that tie the rear blower motor to the rear air inlet housing and take out the motor. Carefully fit the rear blower motor into the rear air inlet housing and join it with three screws, heading them to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.). Insert the rear HVAC wire harness connector into the blower motor, mount the rear HVAC housing back and then reattach the negative end of the battery cable.
