2003 Dodge Durango Blower Motor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain a Blower Motor on 2003 Dodge Durango?
A: Before you service the front blower motor, take out the lower right kick panel and lift back the carpeting under the trim panel and front cowl. Take the blower motor's electrical cable out and loosen the three screws attached to the blower motor and wheel to the heater-A/C housing. Remove the blower motor and wheels from inside the passenger compartment side of the heater-A/C housing. During installation, place the blower motor and its wheel assembly inside the heater-A/C housing so that the parts are in proper spots. Put in the three screws and turn them with a wrench to reach a torque of 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.). Rewiring the blower motor and adding the right kick panel come after the passenger side carpet is carefully got back into place.
