How to Safely and Correctly Service the Air Bag Control Module on 2004 Jeep Liberty?

To service the air bag Control Module, disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for two minutes. Do not damage the module and if dropped replace it. Remove the center console, disengage ACM cover, and disconnect wire harnesses and remove ACM. Reinstall ACM, making sure to orient and connect securely. Do a check test before reconnecting the battery.
