2006 Dodge Durango Ambient Temperature Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain an Ambient Temperature Sensor on 2006 Dodge Durango?
A: You should start by removing and disconnecting the negative battery cable before servicing the ambient air temperature sensor. Then take out the push pin 3 holding the ambient air temperature sensor 1 at the rear of the front bumper beam. Remove the wire harness connector 2 from the sensor and then remove the sensor from your vehicle. Start by joining connector 2 and sensor 1 together, place sensor 1 at the front as shown in the diagram and finish by securing it with push pin 3. At the last step, link the negative cable back to the battery.
