How to Service and Repair a Blower Motor Resistor on 2006 Dodge Durango?

Before servicing the blower motor resistor, remove and isolate the cable that links with the negative battery post. Take out the right rear quarter interior trim panel and disconnect the rear HVAC wire harness connector from the rearmost motor resistor. After that, take out the screw attaching the rear blower resistor to the HVAC housing and then remove the resistor. When installing, put the rear blower motor resistor into the rear HVAC group, add the securing screw and tighten it with 2 N.m (17 in. lbs.) of torque. Join the rear HVAC wire harness connector to the rear blower motor resistor, insert the quarter interior trim into the right rear and then attach the negative battery cable.
