  A: You should disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable, leave it unplugged for two minutes and disable the air bag system to work on the air door actuator/motor on the right. Take out the glove box on the instrument panel for LHD models and the silencer off the driver side of the instrument panel for RHD models. After that, unscrew the three bolts that attach the blend door actuator to the right edge of the HVAC air distribution setup, remove the actuator and pull apart the connector from the HVAC wire harness. Slot the new actuator into the vehicle and clamp it to the side of the HVAC air distribution housing, so the actuator's output shaft connects with the blend door cam. Screw the screws to 2 N.m (17 in. lbs.), plug in the HVAC wire harness connector and finally reattach the glove box or instrument panel silencer. Make sure to reattach the negative battery cable in the end.
